FAQS

what is lacrosse?

Lacrosse is an exciting, fast-paced sport that involves a variety of different skills and combines many of the elements of different sports like basketball, soccer and hockey. It is also a sport that anyone can play – the big and the small. Lacrosse uses the whole body, and it does not require a certain body type. It is a game that rewards coordination and agility, not brawn.

HOW DO I KNOW WHICH PROGRAM TO SIGN UP FOR?

We can help you! In an effort to grow the game of lacrosse in all regions of the KC Metro, each program has designated feeder schools to populate their teams.

High School: High School players must be enrolled in the high school they are playing for, or a designated feeder school.

Youth: Youth players shall be in 8th grade or younger, satisfy the appropriate grade requirement for leagues below 8th grade, reside in the designated boundaries for the team, be enrolled in a private school with a team.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PLAYERS GAME IS CANCELLED?

In the event that a game is cancelled or delayed (due to weather, etc.), the clubs involved in cancelled or delayed games will work together to find an alternative date and location to make up that game.

This change will be communicated through your individual program, and changes will be reflected on the league calendar once make up dates are finalized.

On rare occasions, games will not be made up but that would be due to extenuating circumstances.
