LAKC Youth
The purpose of the LAKC is to create a structured environment in which student athletes, coaches, referees, administrators and parents benefit from the organization that provides fair, safe and competitive opportunities to learn and play lacrosse in the greater Kansas City area.

Ages
Players grades 1st through 8th grade are eligible to play lacrosse through the LAKC Spring league. No experience required to participate.
Where
Games & practices are coordinated by individual programs. Typically practices are close to where players live & go to school.
Games will be played across the KC metro region.
Practices
Practices are coordinated through your individual program. On average players practice 1-2 times per week. Location is usually in close proximity to where players live and attend school.
Games
Games are played on weekends. Games historically begin the weekend after Spring Break and conclude mid-May. Seasons include 8-10 games.
Games are 4 quarters with a half-time. Game length is dependent on grade level.
Jerseys
Uniforms are provided through your individual program, you play for.
As general rule, players will be provided a pinnie that fits over their chest protector and usually a pair of shorts. This is coordinated through your individual club.
Extra Costs
All programs that play within LAKC are charged a membership & team fee to cover administration costs of season.
Players are charged no additional fees directly from the league to participate.
USA Lacrosse Membership
All players & coaches are required to have an active USA Lacrosse membership to participate in the LAKC League.
