LAKC HS

The LAKC High School League is comprised of clubs with both varsity and junior varsity teams. We compete in the greater Kansas City Metro area, running a full spring season with 8-10 games, followed by league play-offs (quarterfinals, semis, and a championship game).

Ages & location

Grades 9-12.

Players must be enrolled in the High School they are playing for, or a designated feeder school.

Lacrosse is a spring sport.

High school season begins March 1 and ends by Mid-May annually.

Where

Games & practices are coordinated by individual programs.

Games will be played across the KC metro region.

Practices

Teams practice 3-5 times per week during the regular season. Practices are coordinated by individual programs, not the league.

Extra Costs

The LAKC League does not charge high school players fees to participate

Fees to play are managed by individual clubs, and vary depending on program.

Full game schedule is normally available early to mid February once released by LAKC.

With your membership to USA Lacrosse, you have very comprehensive insurance coverage. Please contact USA Lacrosse with questions.

When & where are the high school championships?

The location of high school championships vary each year, but they will be played within the KC Metro area. Championship week is mid-May. Please refer to season calendar for specific dates.
